I was seeking an inexpensive, (not cheap,) hand wound mechanical watch for every day wear. My choices included Hamilton and when I realised your offer enabled me to acquire my favoured field watch within my very moderate self imposed budget, the purchase was inevitable. I’m delighted with it so far, although I have changed the strap for a canvas one that doesn’t run under the watch, which makes it sit more comfortably on my wrist. Thanks for the deal.

Initially ordered the black variant which I had to return because of a mechanical fault of the watch. Decided to opt for the white dial because the black one felt a bit too small on the wrist. The white dial makes the watch look larger than it is. It feels more like a 39.5mm than the actual 38mm stated in the specifications. I had great communication with the dealer during the return process and they shipped the new piece free of charge with Royal Mail next day 1pm.
The case is sand blasted which gives it a great tool watch appearance. The white dial and beige lume works great with the green nylon strap and brown leather keepers.
It keeps time well within specs and I did not have any issue at all with winding the watch, setting the time or the power reserve.
Very happy with my purchase and first class watches.

This is my third purchase from FCW and once again the service has been ‘First Class’ offering great price and a prompt next day delivery. The Hamilton Khaki mechanical is a perfect all rounder and in my opinion the best Field watch you can buy at this price point.

Disappointing, very small and cheap looking, much less impressive than all the marketing pictures, would certainly not call it a luxury item and on reflection very much overpriced.
